How to evaluate Nextedy POWERSHEET

Modified on Tue, 30 Sep at 11:01 AM

Prerequisites

Evaluation Options

Option 1 – Hosted Trial (Recommended)

The fastest way to try Powersheet is on our Nextedy evaluation server.

  • Contact us at info@nextedy.com (or your Nextedy representative).

  • We will create a dedicated account for you and set up a sandbox project preconfigured with the Powersheet RTM demo.

  • You can immediately explore editable traceability with sample User Needs, System/Design Requirements, and Tests.

  • Our product team is happy to schedule an introductory call to walk you through Powersheet basics and discuss how it can fit your scenarios.

Once you receive your access:

  1. Log into the evaluation server with the provided credentials.

  2. Open the Powersheet RTM Demo project.

  3. Use the Powersheet Drive entry in the left-hand navigator to access the different Powersheet views.

  4. Explore adding, linking, and editing requirements directly in the table view.

Option 2 – Local Trial

If you prefer to run Powersheet in your own Polarion instance:

  1. Request the trial package and license from Nextedy.

    • You’ll receive a download link and a trial license (3 named users, valid for 30 days).

  2. Install the package following the installation guide.

  3. Upload the license in Administration → Nextedy POWERSHEET → License and assign the named Powersheet users following the guidance on the administration page.

  4. Instantiate the Powersheet RTM Demo Project from the installed template.

  5. Explore and evaluate — and let us know if you’d like support or a guided session.

What the Demo Project Includes

  • Example User Needs Specifications

  • RTM configuration: User Needs → System → Design → Tests

  • Pre-populated data to try guided authoring, linking, and traceability coverage

Next Steps

  • Try the hosted trial if you want to experience Powersheet immediately with zero setup.

  • Try the local trial if you want to evaluate Powersheet in your own Polarion environment.

In both cases, our team is happy to connect and help you get the most out of your evaluation.
