How to setup PLANNINGBOARD into existing projects (based on E-library template)

It is easy to evaluate Planningboard using our demo project. In this article we explain how to setup Planningboard into your existing project. As an example we will use default E-Library demo project that bundles with Polarion.
You can create a project based on the “E-library” template to reproduce exactly these steps or just use information from this article for your own project needs.

1. Create a Project

  • Create a new project and choose E-library as a template; 

2. Create a Planning Board Page

  • Open Documents & Pages - choose Planning space;

  • In the Planning space create a new LiveReport Page and name it "PlanningBoard"; We create this document because PLANNINGBOARD works like a widget for a LiveReport Page.

  • From the list of available Widgets choose Plans - Planning Board.

  • As you see now it loads Planningboard based on E-library planning settings.

  • Now you can play with it to see how straightforward it is in use.
